How to access Download Center to get software for AT devices?

Introduction

Allied Telesis Net.Cover customers benefit from the enhanced software support included with their support plan.

Customers who do not have a Net.Cover support contract and have purchased their device between February 2018 and June 2024 can access the most recent software updates during the grace period from the date of purchase that each device has, as can be seen in the following links:

If your device has been purchased after July 2024, you are eligible to get access to the Download Center for free, you can see the Manufacturer's Hardware Warranty in the following links:

This article describes How to access our Software Download Center.
 

Requesting access to the Download Center

Access to the Download Center can be found within the Support Portal, as shown in the image below:

Clicking "Download Center" will open a new browser tab asking you to log in with your credentials.

If you do not have credentials, you must open a Support case with the Allied Telesis support team, indicating that you want to access the Download Center, you must provide the Model and Serial Number of the device, as well as the support contract number if you own it; If you have multiple devices, you can request access for all within the same ticket.

 

Accessing the Software Download Center 

Once entered, click on "Software" to expand the options and then select "Software Entitlements"

In the left column are the models on which software can be downloaded, the "Entitlement Id" and "System Entitlement Id" columns will indicate how access to this device was obtained, and this may be through a Support Case, a Net.Cover Support contract or the Purchase of a license, these columns are for information only.

The "Expiration Date" column indicates the date when new download files will be added to the Account, after this date, the files will continue to appear but no new ones will be added, the device must get a renewed support contract to get new files and a new expiration date.


Software Entitlements

The account is continually updated with access to software for all products registered against a valid Net.Cover contract and during the grace period for devices without a support contract until the Expiration Date.

When the model in the left column is selected, the Browser will be redirected to a new screen where the different firmware versions to download and the date on which said files were added to the Download Center will appear.

Selecting the "+" symbol will expand the options with the different files.

When selecting the file wanted to download, the Browser will be redirected to the page where it is possible to download said file by pressing "Download File".
